Anthropic grants external auditors employee-level access to systems

Anthropic has given the nonprofit organization METR access to its internal systems and equipment on terms comparable to employee privileges. The METR team, which previously worked with OpenAI, Google and Meta, now has a permanent presence in Anthropic's office. This responds to growing concerns about catastrophic risks posed by increasingly powerful AI models.
