Taiwan repelled 16 Chinese vessels in "hybrid warfare" campaign

China is intensifying its presence near Taiwan — Taipei turned back 16 Chinese naval units and assessed that Beijing is deliberately seeking to change the status quo in the region. Taiwan's authorities describe these actions as part of "hybrid warfare". The increase in Chinese naval activity is fueling growing concerns about stability in the South China Sea.
