Natalia Bajor European champion in table tennis doubles
Natalia Bajor and Slovak Tatiana Kukulková won gold in women's doubles at the European table tennis championships in Ljubljana, defeating Polish pair Anna Brzyska–Zuzanna Wielgos 3:0 (14:12, 11:8, 13:11) in the final. The match was fiercely contested — Brzyska and Wielgos had set points in the first set and led 9:5 in the third but failed to hold their leads. For Bajor and Kukulková this is their second European medal together — two years ago in Linz they won bronze.
