Apple to remove AI apps that create fake nude images from App Store

Apple is tightening App Store guidelines and requiring app creators to actively block AI-generated content used to create fake nude photos of real people without consent — so-called "nudify" apps. The new rules (section 1.2 of the guidelines) apply to platforms where users publish or generate content themselves. The change also targets developers who smuggle hidden features into the App Store.
