Nawrocki vetoes electoral code amendments; Warsaw and Wrocław hit hardest

President Karol Nawrocki blocked a revision to the electoral code by exercising his veto power. The largest cities—Warsaw and Wrocław—will suffer the biggest losses from his decision. Wojciech Hermeliński, former head of the National Electoral Commission, makes no effort to hide his surprise at the president's move.
