Prosecutor investigates fire in Nisko: article 163 inquiry, firefighters' autopsies set for Tuesday
The District Prosecutor's Office in Tarnobrzeg opened an investigation following the fatal fire in Nisko, pursuing it under article 163 of the penal code — causing an event threatening the life or health of many people. Prosecutors, police and fire experts are working at the scene. Investigators cannot yet enter the building's interior; examination is limited to the exterior. Autopsies of the firefighters who died in the tragedy are scheduled for Tuesday.
