Driver caught speeding despite 5-year ban, illegal gun in glovebox

On Wednesday, traffic police in Malbork stopped a 40-year-old driver who was operating a vehicle despite a court-ordered 60-month driving ban. Officers found a signal flare gun with 12 rounds in the glovebox — without required permission and unregistered. The man was taken into custody and then to the Malbork District Prosecutor's Office, where he faced charges. He faces up to 8 years in prison.
