NATO exercises in Poland on deploying troops to Ukraine after ceasefire

In November, at least 1,500 troops from Britain, France, Germany and Poland will participate in exercises on Polish territory, according to The Times. The maneuvers simulate possible deployment of a European contingent to Ukraine after a ceasefire with Russia. The exercises also serve as a deterrent against potential further Russian aggression.
