EAPN report: 15 million Poles live below social minimum

Despite economic growth, extreme poverty in Poland last year remained at a level similar to the previous year and affected around 2 million people, according to the EAPN Poland report (Poverty Watch 2026). Around 15 million Poles lived below the social minimum. The data show that GDP growth does not automatically translate into improved conditions for the poorest.
