Weather balloon carrying cigarettes lands in Przybysławice near Garbów
Residents of Przybysławice in Garbów municipality (Lublin County) found a weather balloon loaded with cigarettes — another attempt at air smuggling. Smugglers use balloons betting they will cross the border undetected and reach the designated pickup location. In early May, a similar balloon landed in a parking lot on the Borek housing estate in Turek near Lublin. Wind direction often causes balloons to land far from their intended destination.
