Thwaites Glacier melting faster; oceans may rise 30 mm by 2100

Thwaites Glacier, known as the "Doomsday Glacier," is melting faster than earlier models predicted. Even without additional global warming, it alone could raise ocean levels by 30 mm by 2100 — twice previous estimates. The situation is assessed as increasingly serious.
