Trump cancels streaming of Hassan execution: firing squad proceeds

Donald Trump announced that the execution of Major Nidal Malik Hassan will not be broadcast. He upheld the death sentence: Hassan will face a firing squad. The military psychiatrist shot 13 people at Fort Hood base in 2009. Trump justified canceling the broadcast saying: "A lot of very good people would prefer not to watch him die."
