Kalisz fraudster faces three months in jail for "accident" scam

An 84-year-old resident of Brody municipality nearly lost nearly 60,000 złoty after falling for a story about an alleged car accident involving her granddaughter. Police arrested a 31-year-old Kalisz resident suspected of the fraud. The court ordered the man held in jail for the next three months.
