Asian giant hornet found for the first time in Poland: nest in Małopolska
Scientists have confirmed the presence of the Asian giant hornet in Poland for the first time — an invasive species threatening honeybees. The insects were detected in two locations in Małopolska, and a nest was found in Wielka Wieś near Kraków. Experts worry that autumn observations may signal further spread of the species across the country.
