Winter will strike the Alps and Scandinavia around October 23–25

In the second half of October, parts of Europe may experience sharp cooling. Forecasts point to heavy snow in the Alps and Scandinavia around October 23–25 — locally up to 30–35 cm of fresh snow cover. Polish lowlands should not expect snow.
