Government adjusts spending limits for Polish nuclear power plants through 2030
A bill amending the nuclear energy investment law proposes shifting spending limits for capitalizing Polish Nuclear Power Plants in 2026–2030. The 2026 limit drops from 11 to 8 billion zloty, 2027 from 14 to 8 billion zloty, 2029 rises from 11 to 17 billion zloty, and 2030 from 6.6 to 9.6 billion zloty. Changes result from the need to adjust spending to the pace of fulfilling the contract with the technology supplier consortium and general contractor for Poland's first nuclear plant.
