Zoo Łączna: owner avoids arrest, court orders police supervision

The District Court in Wałbrzych rejected the prosecutor's motion to remand the owner of private Zoo Łączna in Mieroszów, Lower Silesia, in custody. The man was placed under police supervision and a property bail. Five people in total face charges in the investigation into alleged animal cruelty. Residents of the area are protesting over the zoo's crisis.
