Truck driver ran red light onto railway crossing in Szymocice
Friday morning on ul. Gliwickiej in Szymocice, a 34-year-old truck driver from świętokrzyskie voivodeship passed stationary vehicles ahead of a railway crossing and drove across the tracks on a red signal while one gate was already down. A police officer traveling to work witnessed the incident and notified dispatch. A traffic patrol stopped the truck on ul. Rudzkiej in Raciborz; a breathalyzer test showed the driver was sober. Police submitted a request to court for a penalty.
