22-year-old from Łuków lost 240,000 zł to fake bankers pushing loans
A resident of Łuków county fell victim to scammers posing as bank employees and security officers. The fake bankers convinced him that a credit application for over 40,000 zł had been filed on his account and pressured him to take out more loans — including 80,000 zł from a bank. The 22-year-old deposited the money in a bitcoin ATM. Total losses exceeded 240,000 zł.
