Matt Gaetz sued over human trafficking and sexual exploitation allegations

Former congressman Matt Gaetz has been named as defendant in a civil lawsuit alleging human trafficking and sexual exploitation. The suit claims Gaetz and other defendants funded trips for victims and political figures to Miami, Las Vegas, New York and the Florida Keys. The case is civil and separate from an earlier federal investigation that concluded without charges being filed.
