Szarlota Heap Near Rydułtowy Burning Inside: More Smoke Expected Soon
Szarlota Heap near Rydułtowy is Europe's largest waste rock dump. Although flames are not visible on its surface, temperatures inside reach several hundred degrees Celsius. The City Office announced that in the coming days smoke levels will increase due to planned work at the dump.
