Seoul exchange: KOSPI crashes 7.57%, trading halted for tenth time

South Korea's main stock index KOSPI lost 7.57% and closed at 5554.22 points, with losses reaching 8.36% at the worst moment. A circuit breaker was triggered and trading suspended for 20 minutes — the tenth time this year. Since its June record, KOSPI has lost nearly 41% overall.
