Diocese reveals priest Zborek burned mass intention records
The Bielsko-Żywiec Curia responded to a public statement by Fr. Józef Zborek, former pastor of a parish in Grojce, saying he presented the reasons for his recall incompletely. According to the Curia, reasons included excessive celebration of masses and destruction of mass intention records — the priest allegedly admitted to burning them. The diocese disclosed details of canonical proceedings against the priest.
