Turkey took control of last major opposition television station
The Turkish government appointed a court-appointed administrator to the last major television channel critical of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. This is the fifth large media outlet where authorities have replaced management. The station was one of few opposition voices in Turkey's media landscape.
