Netflix cuts 1,000 jobs in largest layoff since 2022
Netflix is eliminating around 6 percent of its workforce, meaning about 1,000 job cuts globally — the largest layoff round since 2022. The cuts will mainly affect product, technology, legal, and human resources teams, co-leaders Greg Peters and Ted Sarandos said. At the end of 2025, the platform employed around 16,000 full-time staff, and quarterly results are due to be released in less than a week.
