Poland's September 2026 inflation at 4.1 percent, above NBP ceiling

Inflation in Poland reached 4.1 percent year-on-year in September 2026, exceeding the upper bound of the range accepted by the National Bank of Poland. The result was marginally higher than the preliminary estimate of 4 percent published by GUS. This means the NBP, as the institution responsible for price stability, came under pressure to act.
