Krakow teacher suspected of trafficking opioid medication

Police in Krakow detained a 44-year-old teacher suspected of illegally obtaining opioid medications in 2020–2025. He allegedly contacted an anesthesiologist and obtained prescriptions issued to various people—totaling even several hundred, which translated to around 900 drug packages. Investigators are checking whether the drugs reached students at the Krakow school.
