France seizes Russian tanker in Indian Ocean

The French Navy seized the tanker DF Peak in the Indian Ocean — a vessel suspected of belonging to Russia's shadow fleet. The operation was announced by President Emmanuel Macron. The ship allegedly sailed under a false flag and participated in illegal fuel transport circumventing Western sanctions. French authorities are conducting further operations against the vessel.
