Hamburg trial opens for Ukrainian officer charged in Nord Stream attack

A trial began Wednesday in Hamburg of a former Ukrainian officer accused of involvement in the bombing of Nord Stream gas pipelines in the Baltic. Dr. Joachim Weber of the University of Bonn assessed that Ukraine, not Russia, was behind the attack. The case could seriously affect Germany-Ukraine diplomatic relations.
