Venice Commission: Nawrocki should immediately swear in Constitutional Court judges
The Venice Commission called on President Karol Nawrocki to immediately administer the oath to Constitutional Court judges selected by the Sejm. The Council of Europe body stated the president has no right to control the process of selecting Constitutional Court judges. The dispute over Constitutional Court appointments has persisted for years and remains a key element of Poland's rule-of-law crisis.
