Airlines suspend flights to Riyadh after Houthi attacks on airport
Several international airlines have suspended service to Riyadh following deadly attacks by Yemeni Houthis on the airport there; some carriers are extending cancellations at least until October 19. Delta Airlines has postponed the launch of its first direct flights from the United States to Saudi Arabia to March 2027. The situation threatens Saudi Arabia's plans to make Riyadh a global aviation hub.
