17-year-old from Zgierz incited destruction of police cars and school crimes

On 9 October 2026, a 17-year-old student from Zgierz county posted messages in messengers inciting violence, destruction of police cars and school crimes in the context of tragic incidents in Polish schools. Officers from the Ozorków Police Station identified and detained the teenager, who was placed in police custody. The prosecutor charged him with publicly inciting commission of a crime and applied police supervision. The alleged offense carries a sentence of up to three years' imprisonment.
