One psychologist for hundreds of children: students fear disclosing secrets

Psychologist Joanna Szulc says many students avoid the school psychologist for fear their secrets will reach their teacher or parents. The specialist explains that a psychologist is bound by confidentiality and must act in the child's interest, but must also cooperate with parents and school administration. The school system is not equipped to serve so many students with a single specialist.
