Commission report: Pegasus operated through anonymizing network, CBA lacked full control
A parliamentary committee report on Pegasus reveals the system did not operate locally in CBA's server room but through an anonymizing network distributed across various parts of the world. CBA did not possess passwords to some accounts with administrator privileges, and the device infection module remained under the sole control of the manufacturer — as emphasized by commission chair Magdalena Sroka. Politicians and intelligence chiefs are said to be involved in the matter.
