Poland builds coalition against mandatory ETS for transport and construction
Climate Minister Paulina Hennig-Kloska announced Poland will fight to make the EU's expansion of its emissions trading system to construction and transport entirely voluntary for EU states. Poland is building a coalition of countries on this matter, unofficially dubbed a "climate NATO". The goal is to prevent binding obligations being imposed on households and drivers.
