Patients wait up to 623 days for treatment: groups call for reform

In June, over 2,000 patients were waiting to enter eight drug programs covering gastroenterology, dermatology and rheumatology. In extreme cases, wait times reach nearly two years — 623 days — without access to specialist therapy. Patient organizations demand changes to funding and organization of treatment under Poland's drug programs.
