Widow's pension to rise from 2027: second pension share jumps from 15 to 25%

From January 1, 2027, widows and widowers receiving widow's pensions will get higher benefits — the share of a second pension or annuity will rise from 15 to 25 percent. For some seniors this means an extra 200–400 zloty monthly, or thousands of zloty annually. The final amount depends on individual eligibility and the statutory limit.
