At least 139 migrants dead after boat capsizes off Djibouti coast
A vessel carrying approximately 350 migrants capsized near Obock on the Gulf of Aden off Djibouti's coast between Thursday and Friday night. At least 139 people died; around 80 were rescued. The vessel was heading toward Yemen along one of the main migration routes from Horn of Africa countries. International Organization for Migration teams and local authorities are on site, and rescue operations continue.
