Psychologist on school panic: This shows the condition of our society
A few troubling reports were enough for parents to massively consider keeping children home and for school directors to close facilities. Psychologist and psychotraumatologist Justyna Żukowska-Gołębiewska says concern is not the same as panic and points to the role of media and the state, which failed to give parents clear answers in the crisis. She questions why we so easily lose our sense of security and why we increasingly struggle to trust each other.
