Controversial study: Danish researchers to withhold HBV vaccines from newborns in Africa

Danish researchers have received approval to conduct a controversial experiment in Guinea-Bissau in which thousands of newborns will not receive the recommended dose of hepatitis B vaccine. The study is supported by Robert F. Kennedy Jr., U.S. secretary of health and a longtime vaccine opponent. Critics warn of risks to children's lives.
