Railway line through the Beskids to reopen December 13, 2026

After several years of major reconstruction, railway line no. 97 between Żywiec and Sucha Beskidzka will reopen on December 13, 2026. The route runs through the Beskids toward the Tatras and is considered one of Poland's most beautiful railway routes.
