Poland won't raise tax-free threshold to 60,000 zlotys, defense is priority

Finance Minister Andrzej Domański told TOK FM that the government will not increase the tax-free allowance to the promised 60,000 zlotys. Defense spending has risen from 110 billion zlotys in 2023 to 200 billion zlotys, with security cited as the government's highest priority. The Civic Coalition's election pledge remains unfulfilled.
