Pentagon announces public execution of Nidal Hasan at Fort Hood

Nidal Hasan, sentenced to death for the attack on military base Fort Hood in 2009, will be executed by firing squad in a public execution at the same base. The Pentagon announced this will be the first public execution in the USA in 90 years. Hasan killed 13 soldiers and wounded dozens of people at the time.
