Draconids meteor shower reaches peak on night of October 8-9

The Draconids meteor shower will reach maximum activity during the night of October 8-9. It is one of the most unpredictable meteor showers — in some years it delivers spectacular displays. Observations can be conducted with the naked eye, preferably far from city lights.
