Poland leads Europe in minimum wage growth, but firms fear uncertainty
Over the past decade Poland has been among Europe's leaders in minimum wage increases, though this year's raise was one of the continent's smallest. Business owners complain not only about the scale of the increases but especially about lack of predictability — they don't know in advance how much the minimum wage will rise. Uncertainty makes it harder to plan costs and staffing.
