Nasdaq drops 0.85%, S&P 500 falls 0.56%. US bond yields highest since 2002
American indexes retreated on Wednesday after two record sessions — Nasdaq lost 0.85% and S&P 500 dropped 0.56%. The yield on 30-year US Treasury bonds reached its highest level since 2002, Brent crude returned above $100 per barrel, and chipmaker stocks took the biggest hits. The Fed is scheduled to publish the minutes from its September meeting this evening.
