Director of "Jaśmin" care facility arrested for extortion from patients' families
The director of the private care and medical facility "Jaśmin" in Stary Gozd was detained on suspicion of corruption crimes. Investigators determined he was demanding additional payments from residents' families — including 450 zł monthly — for the possibility of continued stay for patients funded by the NFZ. The District Court in Radom ordered three months of pretrial detention for the suspect. Police are investigating whether similar cases may have affected other patients at the facility.
