UOKiK accuses Google of unfair negotiations with news publishers
UOKiK president Tomasz Chróstny accuses Google of conducting unfair negotiations with Polish news publishers, concealing required data and abusing its dominant position. Chróstny announced that the "nuclear option" — the highest financial penalties — remains on the table. In an interview he also explained why the proceedings did not include Meta or other major tech firms and when publishers can expect compensation.
