Hepatitis A outbreak in southern Slovakia: 22 cases in two weeks

An epidemiological investigation is underway in Lučenec district in southern Slovakia after 22 new cases of hepatitis A were detected in just two weeks. Twenty of the cases were found in a single locality. Health authorities are investigating the source of the outbreak.
