19-year-old stole nearly 12,000 zloty from grandmother's debit card
A 19-year-old living with his grandmother repeatedly stole her debit card to make purchases, fill up his car, and withdraw cash at ATMs in the Parczew and Łuków districts. He discreetly returned the card after each transaction. The 78-year-old's total losses reached nearly 12,000 zloty. The theft was discovered when the woman lost the card and her son installed a banking app, revealing unauthorized transactions. Theft carries a sentence of up to 10 years in prison.
